The security and access control platform D-System has been selected, by the PSA-Sines, for implementation the Terminal XXI.

The container terminal at Sines, called TXXI, began operations in 2004 and operated under concession by the public service company PSA Sines (PSA - Port Singapore Authority).

With a phased development and sustained plan, the Terminal XXI offers natural backgrounds up to 17.5 meters ZH, enabling berthing of large container ships of transcontinental routes and ships of the respective feeder connections.

Currently, with a quay length of 730 meters and endowed with six post-panamax gantry cranes and super post-panamax, the terminal has a storage area with 24 ha that makes available a total capacity of 1,000,000 TEUs per year.
